Physical Therapist - Med/Surg

Location: Sierra Vista, Arizona, United States

Reports to: Director
Salary: $72-114,000 per annum 

Bonus: $15,000.00

About the Role

This position is based in southeastern Arizona, within a well-established hospital serving a large and growing population across the region.


The facility offers a broad range of services across:

  • Acute hospital care 
  • Inpatient rehabilitation 
  • Medical-surgical units 
  • Outpatient services 


You will work in a modern healthcare environment with access to advanced technology and a collaborative multidisciplinary team.


Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments across a variety of care settings 
  • Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based treatment plans 
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence 
  • Support pain management and rehabilitation goals 
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient care and discharge planning 
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programmes and safety strategies 
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation 
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, licensing, and professional standards 
  • Undertake additional duties as required 


What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Physical Therapist who:

  • Is passionate about delivering high-quality patient care 
  • Works effectively within a multidisciplinary team 
  • Demonstrates strong clinical judgement and communication skills 

Requirements

  • Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited programme 
  • Active and unrestricted Physical Therapy license (or eligibility) in Arizona 
  • Current CPR certification 
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
