The Role
As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will be an integral part of our technology team, focusing on the development and implementation of computer vision solutions that enable real-time analysis and insights for agriculture applications. You will have a central role in crafting and executing sophisticated computer vision algorithms tailored for embedded platforms, with a specific emphasis on NVIDIA Jetson (Orin and Nano)
If successful your primary responsibility will be to develop solutions for crop detection, comprehensive analysis, and precise guidance of a robotic arm for optimal crop harvesting.
Requirements
● Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to define and refine technical requirements for computer vision applications, ensuring alignment with business objectives and feasibility on edge platforms.
● Lead the development and optimisation of computer vision algorithms customised for edge devices, enabling real-time analysis of agricultural imagery, including satellite data and on-site camera feeds.
● Implement sophisticated image processing techniques, object detection, image segmentation, and feature extraction to derive meaningful insights from visual data.
● Curate and preprocess datasets for training and fine-tuning deep learning models, maintaining data quality and integrity.
● Take ownership of creating, deploying, and fine-tuning deep learning models using frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch, optimising for optimal performance on edge devices and NVIDIA Jetson platforms.
● Stay updated with the latest advancements in computer vision, AI, and machine learning, and apply innovative techniques to enhance our agricultural solutions for edge deployment.
● Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to seamlessly integrate computer vision solutions into our agricultural technology platforms, focusing on edge capabilities.
Experience
● Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, with a focus on computer vision, machine learning, or deep learning.
● Demonstrated experience in developing computer vision algorithms, including object detection, image segmentation, and deep learning models.
● Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or equivalent, along with hands-on experience in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
● Solid understanding of image processing techniques, feature extraction, and neural network architectures.
● Expertise in deploying computer vision solutions on edge devices, particularly embedded systems and NVIDIA Jetson platforms (Orin and Nano).
● Previous exposure to agricultural data or related sectors is a plus.
● Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
● Effective communication skills and a collaborative mindset for cross-functional teamwork.

What We’re Looking For:

5+ years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of success

Experience selling within or around the ServiceNow partner ecosystem (a strong plus)
